RYAN ADAMS
Ashes & Fire
2011
album from the acclaimed singer/songwriter. The album was recorded at Sunset
Sound Factory in Hollywood and produced by Glyn Johns, renowned for his
work with the likes of The Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Clash, The Who and The
Rolling Stones--and whose son Ethan produced previous Ryan Adams albums
Heartbreaker, Gold and 29. From the slow burning stunner of opener
"Dirty Rain" through the infectious shuffle of the title track
and irresistible harmonies of "Lucky Now," to the closing
lament of "I Love You But I Don't Know What To Say," Ashes
& Fire is arguably the most cohesive and beautiful album of Adams'
distinguished career.
JOE BONAMASSA & BETH HART

of music’s most powerful female voices and one of the world’s greatest

Joe Bonamassa deliver scorching versions of ten classic songs first made
famous by artists including Billie Holiday, Etta James, Tom Waits, Ray
Charles, Delaney & Bonnie, Bill Withers, and Aretha Franklin.

Lou Reed & Metallica
Lulu: Deluxe Book 2Cd
Edition
Limited
two CD/two book set. Each book is 12" x 12" square bound with a
hard cover. The first book includes 20 pages of photographs by Anton
Corbijn. The second book is 28 pages with lyrics from each song along
with imagery from the objects collection of Werkbundarchiv Museum Der
Dinge, Berlin, Germany. 2011 two CD
collaboration between Rock legend Lou Reed and the Heavy Metal monolith
that is Metallica. Lulu was inspired by German expressionist writer Frank
Wedekind's plays Earth Spirit and Pandora's Box, which tell a story of a
young abused dancer's life and relationships and are now collectively
known as the "Lulu Plays." Originally the lyrics and musical
landscape were sketched out by Lou for a theatrical production in Berlin, but after coming together with the 'Tallica
boys for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame concerts in New York in 2009 all guilty parties
knew they wanted to make more music together. Lou was inspired enough by
that performance to recently ask the band to join him in taking his
theatrical Lulu piece to the next level and so starting in early May of
this year they were all camped out recording at HQ studios in Northern California, bringing us to today and 10
complete songs.
